Aragonite

SKU: 1367

Often referred to as the "Sputnik Stone" due to its distinctive radiating hexagonal crystals, Aragonite is a fascinating carbonate mineral sourced from the Middle Atlas Mountains, Morocco. In these mountainous regions, aragonite typically occurs as "floaters" within layers of red clay dating back to the Permian or Triassic age. The specimens from Tazouta are world-renowned for their radiating "star" clusters of reddish-brown pseudohexagonal crystals, a unique appearance largely associated with Moroccan origins.

In its most iconic form, it appears as reddish-brown or honey-coloured clusters of twin crystals that shoot out in every direction from a central core, creating a geometric masterpiece of natural symmetry. Metaphysically, this unique radiating structure signifies the ability to ground high-frequency energy while simultaneously expanding one’s influence outward. It is a premier Earth-healing stone that works deeply with the Root and Earth Star Chakras, making it an essential tool for those who feel scattered or overwhelmed by modern stress. By providing a stable, "centered" foundation, Aragonite helps the carrier channel chaotic emotions into productive, grounded action, effectively "earthing" the spirit during times of transition or heavy responsibility.

To harness its stabilizing power, place an Aragonite cluster in a high-traffic area of your home or office to act as a "stabilizing anchor," absorbing environmental tension and promoting a patient, disciplined atmosphere. During meditation, hold the cluster in both hands and visualize the radiating points acting as grounding rods, pulling excess mental energy down into the earth to be recycled. This practice is particularly beneficial for those who struggle with procrastination or lack of focus, as it encourages the "completion" of projects with steady persistence.

Since our founding in 1993, we have curated these geometric wonders for their ability to provide a deep sense of belonging and structural support. As you align with its stabilizing frequency, recite the mantra: “I am deeply rooted in the wisdom of the Earth; I remain centered amidst the storm and channel my energy with purpose and poise.”

Don't just stay grounded—radiate your strength from a stable center with the architectural brilliance of Aragonite.

  • Moroccan Aragonite Care

    Avoid Acidic Cleaners 🚫
Never use vinegar, lemon juice, or harsh chemical cleaners. As a carbonate, Aragonite will react and dissolve (fizz) when in contact with acids, permanently damaging the crystal surface.

    Gentle Dusting 🖌️
The radiating "spikes" are natural dust traps. Use a soft-bristled makeup brush or a soft paintbrush to whisk away debris from the crevices without putting pressure on the delicate hexagonal points.

    Brief Cool Rinse 💧
If the cluster is heavily soiled, rinse it quickly under cool, running water. Do not soak it for long periods, as water can eventually seep into micro-fractures and weaken the structural integrity of the "star" formation.

    Pat Dry Only ☁️
Avoid rubbing the crystal with a towel, as fibers will snag on the sharp edges. Gently pat dry with a lint-free cloth or allow it to air-dry completely on a soft surface.

    Energy Recharge ☀️
To restore its grounding 'Earth Star' frequency, place the cluster in natural sunlight for 15–30 minutes to recharge its warm, solar energy. Alternatively, place it atop high-frequency clusters, such as Clear Quartz or Golden Healer, to fully restore its energetic vibration
