Natutal Colouration
The yellow hue is caused by natural iron oxide (such as hematite, goethite, or limonite) that either coats the surface or becomes trapped within the crystal's fractures and veils as it grows. Crystals are directly from the mine without any acid wash. When the crystal is cleaned with harsh chemicals (like oxalic or hydrochloric acid) this natural yellow external/surface layer can be removed, colour may become lighter. Be assured that this will not alter the energy.
